Hope you all doing great and best of your health. My name is Priya and have completed my Homeopathy Course from India. I have completed my degree in BHMS.
Currently I live in Bath and want to know if I can practice homeopathy in UK.
Do I have to appear for any entrance exam or any kind of test, or any certification need to be done so that I may get eligible for practising in UK.
Do help me and let me know as I would love to practice homeopathy.

Currently homeopathy is unregulated in the UK and in fact anyone can practice regardless of their qualifications.
There are two main groups of homeopathic practitioners in the UK. There are members of the Faculty of Homeopathy who are listed on this website. All members of the Faculty are statutorily registered healthcare professionals such as doctors, nurses and osteopaths or vets and vet nurses. Doctors who are members of the Faculty can treat patients with homeopathy privately or on the NHS. These practitioners are all regulated by their statutory professional body such as the General Medical Council for doctors.
The other group are non statutorily registered health care practitioners who are usually members of groups such as The Society of Homeopaths or the Alliance of Registered Homeopaths. They have usually done university degrees or masters degrees in homeopathy and should have insurance.
As a BHMS I recommend you contact The Society of Homeopaths as you would not be eligible to join the Faculty of Homeopathy as your qualification is not recognised by the General Medical Council of Great Britain. Their website is: http://www.homeopathy-soh.org/
Technically you could start a practice now without joining a group but patients will be more comfortable if you have the backing of The Society or another homeopathic organisation in the UK.
