General: What kind of Visa an Indian homeopath requires to practice in london?

    Hello,

    I am Dr.Vandana from India. I have done my BHMS from the prestigious college of homeopathy- CMP in india & practising Predictive method of homeopathy founded by Dr.Prafull Vijaykar in India for the last 4yrs. However I plan to move to London soon with my husband.
    I wanted to know the following things:
    1. Can indian homeopaths practice in London?
    2. What kind of visa do i need to practice there? Dependant visa or work visa or any student visa?
    3. What are the other options for work available for an indian homeopath in london?
    4. Is homeopathy approved by the govt in london?

    Hello there,
    I am also in the same boat.I have come over to London, after marriage, holding a dependant visa. With all my passion in homoeopathy,I miss the homoeopathic practice that I was enjoying in India.I hold a BHMS degree from Government Homoeopathic Medical College,TN.I wish to work here with other homoeopaths.I have dreams of researching in homoeopathy.Is there any possibility of my dreams coming true here(at London)?

    BHMS is not recognised by the General Medical Council (GMC) so you would not be eligible for Faculty of Homeopathy membership or training. It would be best for you to contact the Society of Homeopaths about practising homeopathy in the UK, their website is: http://www.homeopathy-soh.org/

    Regarding research you can try contacting the Homeopathy Research Institute, their website is: http://www.homeoinst.org/

    hello i am dr.gayathri,completed my BHMS from INDIA BANGALORE now i am staying in saudi arabia riyadh,I would like to know what kind of visa i need to start my homoeopathic practise in UK .

    Dear Dr Gayathri

    I cannot advise you on visas - you would need to speak to the consulate or whatever organisation it is that issues visas. I imagine you would need a working visa.
